Job Corps News: Job Corps jobcorps.gov/home.aspx is the nation’s largest educational and career technical training program for youth ages 16-24. Job Corps is a free education and training program funded by the federal government that helps eligible young people learn a career, earn a high school diploma or GED, and find and keep a good job. Job Corps provides students all-around skills needed to succeed in a career and in life. • Up to $60,000 scholarship to become certified in a skilled trade! • We provide you with housing, meals, and basic medical care. • We can help you get your GED, high school diploma, and/or driver’s license if needed. • This program is completely FREE to eligible students! • Please join us for an information session! Every Tuesday’s at 3:00 PM, 306 Division Street, Yakima, WA 98102 (Work Source) Job Corps mission during Women’s History Month is to attract eligible young women into programs that have been traditionally dominated by their male peers. We want to teach young women the skills they need to become employable and independent, and place them in meaningful jobs or further education.
