Job Opening: Cardinal Stage Company - General Manager Cardinal Stage Company seeks a motivated and capable team player to handle all bookkeeping responsibilities, manage outside vendor agreements and contracts, manage the onsite and offsite box office operations and oversee the management and upkeep of Cardinals office & building space. Reporting to the Artistic Director, the General Manager will oversee the administrative side of the company. Cardinal Stage Company has an administrative staff of five and additional part-time box office support. Cardinal operates with a $900,000 annual budget and produces a six show mainstage season, two Cardinal for Kids shows, a school tour and a summer Musical Theatre Camp. Applications due by April 21st. Responsibilities Bookkeeping Company Management (including Contracts and Outside Vendor Relationships) Box Office Operations General Administrative Duties (including Payroll) Facility Management Other Duties as assigned by Artistic Director Candidate will possess the following qualifications: Bachelors Degree in a related field. Experience working in a non-profit office, management or supervisory experience a plus. Proficiency in Quickbooks, Excel, and WordPress. Customer Service and Cash Handling Experience. Ability to work multiple nights/weekends in a row to manage Box Office operations. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess: Experience in effectively utilizing a workforce of paid professionals, volunteers, and Cardinal staff. Excellent computer skills and detailed knowledge of spreadsheets. Ability to handle customer service issues, troubleshoot challenges and come up with creative solutions on own. Ability to show good judgment when dealing with the public. Excellent communication skills, the ability to manage shifting and competing priorities, exercise good judgment and discretion, and maintain a positive attitude in stressful environments are all essential attributes. Proven ability to troubleshoot and think outside the box when resources are limited and a strong desire to take on responsibilities and tackle projects head on. Position is full-time, salaried.
