Job Opportunity ~ Web Developer FLINTRIVER FLINTRIVER ... an independent integrated agency, established in 2001, is looking for a web developer to join our vibrant & busy studio/office in Milnathort, Kinross. May suit recent graduate or someone with relevant skill set. Studio/ industry experience would be ideal, but a passion & drive for producing the best solutions, both creatively and technically for our clients, is essential. About the Position Your primary role will be in the creation of CMS driven websites. We expect you to understand key web development concepts and be passionate about the latest technologies and techniques. You will also be involved in the general maintenance of the companys existing websites, hosting and client support. And will get to contribute during the proposal and tendering process for new or prospective projects. Required Skills - Convert design visuals into standards compliant HTML5 and neat CSS3 - Responsive web development techniques - CMS development (knowledge of Wordpress (in particular), Drupal, Expression Engine or Joomla would be advantageous) - Programming interaction with JavaScript (including jQuery). - Intermediate level PHP & MySQL skills would be advantageous. - Knowledge of cross-browser testing and compatibility issues. - You will be both a team player and be able work on your own initiative. - Youll be an able communicator Desired Skills - Photoshop (from a developer’s perspective) - OOP principles and methodologies - Unix command line knowledge - Git version control (Github or Bitbucket). - Web hosting knowledge (WHM, cPanel, DNS etc.) Please submit your CV & covering letter, including salary expectations, for consideration to - [email protected]
