Job Opportunity – IT PROJECT MANAGER Doha, Qatar Purpose The Project Manager manages the execution of one or more IT project at the same time. Project Manager ensures that the projects scope, budget and timelines are being met. He/she coordinates the dependencies between different projects and helps resolve issues and risks that might arise in any project. Additionally, the Project Manager oversees projects costs and makes sure they are well managed. ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES Manage IT projects until successful delivery Prepare for and conduct projects Initiations and kick-offs Identify and assess risks and create and implement risks mitigation plan to overcome them. Define monitoring, and control process. Plan phases and iterations; assess iteration deliverables in the context to enhance the deliverables in future iterations. Work the QA and BA teams to develop a Quality Assurance and UAT plans. Manage the QA and UAT activities, Identify test motivators and assess and advocate quality cross all activities and deliverables associated with the projects. Monitor and report project status Handle exceptions and problems Facilitating communication and working with business owners, analysts, technical team and clients. Such teams can be internal or external Establish an efficient change control process and make sure it is well understood, executed and monitored cross the projects life-cycle. Maintain professional and efficient project documentation. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering, Business, or any other related field. 5-7 years in IT project management, minimum 2 years in online entertainment, SM or news portals domains: Knowledge in any standard project management techniques (CMM, PMI, RUP). Fully aware of agile and scrum software development techniques and tools. Strong capabilities in using project management tools such as MS project professional. Knowledge in sharing and collaboration tools used to enhance team work and collaboration cross the project team. Knowledge in development tools, database, architecture (Visual Studio, .NET, SQL Server, COM, ASP, XML...). Client offers competitive tax free package.
