Visit our website at mabey to learn more about our company. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mabey Inc is seeking an experienced Product Technician to support our San Francisco Depot located in San Leandro, Califorinia. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Advise and support our customers with the proper and safest methods of using our equipment. Assist and provide our customers with professional and efficient support needed for each individual job. Liaison with customers, engineering, and sales team. Local travel necessary with occasional extended travel. Prepare site reports daily, keeping accurate records and files. Overseeing installation of our equipment as required. Troubleshoot and maintain all air and hand pumps. Troubleshoot and maintain the EMV (Excavator Mounted Vibratory Unit), along with recordkeeping of all repairs, maintenance, rentals, etc. Assist with in-house training on products with Laborer candidates. Stay on top of the industries needs at all times. Complete a “Driver’s Daily Log" for each day of the month, regardless of whether they are on or off duty. The driver log must be filled out completely and accurately. Do a quick visual inspection of the vehicle at the start of a driving day. Attach fuel receipts to their log and list mileage traveled in each state. Show fuel stop on driver grid located on driver log. Complete, in detail, pre/post Trip Inspection. Complete a “Driver’s Vehicle Inspection Report" at the end of each day of driving. If a driver notes any items to be repaired, the repairs must be done before the vehicle is placed back in service. Once the repairs have been completed, the certified mechanic completing the repair and the driver who originally filled out the report must sign the report confirming that the repairs have been completed. All “Logs" must be turned into the Depot Manager each week for forwarding to the Transportation Manager. If the driver is on the road, he or she is to send the log directly to the Transportation Manager on a weekly basis. All maintenance and repair copies with driver logs must be submitted to the Depot Manager for forwarding to the Transportation Manager or submit directly to Transportation Manager if on the road. Assist with yard duties when not performing tech support on site. Other duties as assigned. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must possess a current DOT CDL Certification Working knowledge of Quality Systems and practices such as ISO.
