Job Position : SHE Practitioner Ref : 1136 - Claire Zonneveld (Gillmer) Location : Port Elizabeth (Struandale) Salary : R14 000 per month Negotiable Qualifications / Requirements: •Matric and ABET Level 4 (Numeracy and Literacy) •National Diploma in Safety and / or Environmental Management with plant and mining experience or relevant qualification •2 to 3 years proven SHE experience in mining and / or heavy industrial environment •Knowledge of relevant SHE legislation •Computer literacy: Ms Word, Ms Excel •Good knowledge of ISO 15001, OHSAS 18001 •Must be able to function in a multi-disciplinary and multi-skilled team •Energetic, self-driven individual with the ability to work independently •Firm, fair and able to communicate at all levels •Assertive, confident, mature and passionate •Valid Drivers License Key Performance Areas: •Assist with the management of SHE systems and standards •Coordination of fire safety •Coordination and facilitation of occupational health and environmental risk assessments and investigations •Monitor compliance to security requirements and coordinate access control •Monitor compliance to OHS requirements •Monitor emergency management planning, business continuity management and conduct response drills •Administration of contractor management •Monitoring of occupational hygiene and environmental standards, implementation, reports and records •Safety and health training (monitor) •Present SHE induction •Conduct awareness training, sharing of knowledge and lessons learnt •Conduct required SHEQ inspections •Assist with operational / process and rail safety management •Assist with the coordination of safety governance issues •Maintain records and other administrative tasks, including filing •Coordinate waste management activities •Coordinate environmental management systems Please email an updated, detailed CV to [email protected] or [email protected] together with a recent, colour, head and shoulders photograph of yourself
