**Job Posting for Panasonic Corp. NJ** Manager, Riverfront Innovation Center (1301550) Currently, Panasonic Corporation of North America (PNA) is seeking a Manager, Riverfront Innovation Center. Panasonic is opening up an innovation Center at the new headquarters office and is seeking to hire a person to coordinate product and content exhibitions, as well as to manage the day-to-day operations and the running of the Center. The manager will be responsible for ensuring that the Center optimally showcases and describes Panasonic integrated solutions to key customers, the press, HQ executives and guests. The manager must be well organized, energetic and personable; have deep product knowledge and understanding of technology and brand strategy to enable direct interaction with exhibiting Divisions; ensure smooth operation of displayed technology; and to handle the logistics and scheduling associated with a wide range of visitors and tours. ACCOUNTABILITIES: • Manage the operations, projects, events, and displays working independently and in collaboration with all sales company management and marketing groups. • Maintaining optimum operation of physical area and solutions on display • Hosting Tours • Administration and development of budget • Analysis and report development relating to center’s performance and visitor feedback QUALIFICATIONS: Reports to Director of Brand Strategy CMG • Responsible for managing the operation and activity of the Innovation Center • Key point person for Divisions to determine solutions and content exhibited within the Center e.g. how to update exhibits to reflect latest solutions, integration of show exhibits like CES, NAB etc. within the Center, knowledge of most up to date content available for use within the Center (Hq channel Panasonic, web, shows or original content needed) • Position requires that person a working knowledge of the key technologies that will be on display in the Center. Prior retail sales or technology background would be beneficial to be able to present capabilities shown each individual exhibit as well as to demonstrate technologies integrated throughout the Center like the latest in cloud delivered content management and remote security surveillance. • Manage Innovation Center Budget and Divisional allocation. Current content & operations budget (excluding rent allocation) $700K+. Manager will help determine additional allocation of $1M plus rent allocation. • Act as first point of contact for Panasonic and conduct daily tours of the idea center with key customers, HQ executives, press, and visitors. • Compile survey data relative to the innovation centers effectiveness (i.e. feedback from visitors) and develop periodic reports to share with internal stakeholders and management that will result in improvements and/or changes being explored. • Ability to manage high level of detail (logistics of scheduling tours, tech & content updates, budgets) and problem solving skills (balance between Center objectives & Divisional demands, integration of tech that reflect brand goals, smooth operation/solve malfunctions etc.) Education & Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree Required in Marketing or Engineering preferred; or equivalent years of experience. • CE retail or experience with participating in or managing Cross-Functional team (Division Reps, BMG, engineers, visitors etc) Communications: • Position requires excellent communication & presentation skills as there will be daily interaction with visitors and clients. • Position requires a high level of organization and independent thinking • Develop communications materials related to the promotion of the innovation center • Establish and maintain project communications with internal team Other Requirements: • Demonstrated proficiency with the computer applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
