Job Title: Medicines Distribution Manager Location: Distribution Service, London Type: Permanent Salary: £36,917 - £46,837 pa inc Start Date: (TBD) Description: Pharmacy Business and Distribution Centre Brewery Road, London N7 9NH Pharmacy Distribution Manager We are looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician who has management expertise to: Enhance our existing medicine distribution service Provide innovative solutions for day to day problems. Improve processes through technical and automated systems. Motivate and manage a large team of dedicated staff. Work closely with a wide variety of customers and colleagues The Pharmacy at UCL Hospitals Trust provides a comprehensive off-site medicines distribution service to a wide variety of customers such as our own wards and departments, plus many other hospitals and community clinics in London. This centre of excellence provides a wide range of services that are currently managed from purpose built warehouse storage facilities located close to Tube, bus and overground services approximately 2m from the hospital. You should hold a BTEC/NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Services. In addition you should have at least 3 years management experience, preferably working within a Distribution environment. You should have existing IT and understand stock control processes as well as an appreciation of the requirements of a customer focussed service. Effective communication and problem solving skills are critical. We require an individual with drive and ability to work under pressure, as well as some one who can take control and perform effectively within the pharmacy team as a whole.
