Job Title : Network-VOIP Administrator Company : Jordan TALENT Recruitment Job Description : A leading Group in Saudi Arabia looking for Network/VOIP Administrator Job Title: Network/VOIP Administrator Job Level: Supervisory Department: IT Job Summary The Network/VOIP Administrator is responsible for the capacity, availability and performance of the complete data and voice network in addition to managing network vendors and ensuring uptime of LAN, WAN, and telecommunications Major Duties and Responsibilities ► Guides and ensures effective operation of networking active components - switches, routers, and traffic accelerators - and LAN wireless equipment, WAN networks, and utilizes networks management solution as needed to ensure continuous and uninterrupted operation of the Networks system. ► Guides the backups operations of network information as per the backup policy and requirements set by the ‘IT Security and Business Continuity’ function. ► Supervises and ensures effective operation of passive components and telecommunication links such as leased lines, VPN,VSAT, Wi-Max, Frame Relay, IPVPN, etc. ► Supervises and supports VoIP servers, handsets, and services. ► Utilizes networks management solution as needed to ensure continuous and uninterrupted operation of the communications system. ► Plans and delivers capacity, performance and availability plans of the network. ► Monitors and provides second level support– for the entire data and communication networks. ► Metrics monitoring and control for networks. ► Ensures production environment for network is under strict control with no unauthorized changes being made. ► Ensures network is maintained well to provide uptime and availability as agreed. ► Conduct a periodic health check on all Network and Communication equipments. ► Manages third party vendors/service providers to support the network.
