A degree is not required but prefer that the candidate have taken some college level coursework. Knowledge of accounting software (ie. Sage Contractor 100, Peachtree) and accounting practices are a plus but not required. Job Description and Wage Information: Central Plumbing is a family-owned commercial subcontracting company that has been providing quality plumbing for large and small scale construction projects throughout the Kansas City Area for over 30 years. We are in search of a motivated individual to provide assistance to our Office Business Manager, Internal Accountant and Lead Estimator at our office located near Martin City (Kansas City, MO). Duties will include entering and generating project invoices, payroll entry, accounts receivable entry and follow-up, tracking bids, registering new projects, and other various project related tasks. This would be a great job for a student working toward accounting, business administration, marketing, civil engineering and/or construction related fields. We are generally open Monday – Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. No weekends, no evenings. We would be happy to work around school schedules for self-motivated candidates.
