Job Title: Planning Engineer Location: Warri Job Summary: The role will be responsible for the development of the Engineering, Procurement & Construction services of the Company as well as the installation of planning deliverables in accordance with engineering and fabrication and WBs codes which cover all packages of the work. Primary Responsibilities: Responsibilities include Preparation of planning deliverables in accordance with the scheduled time table by early engagement with the project team so as to: • Plan project, report, communicate schedule issues, maintain and update Master Project Plan. • Analyze project requirements. Monitor and report progress. • Prepare logic diagrams for detailed schedule reporting. • Prepare manpower loading and work breakdown schedules. • Conduct risk analysis and propose corrective actions. • Ensure compliance with project cost control procedures. Required Knowledge and Experience: • Bachelors degree in Engineering • Minimum of 10 years experience within an oil and gas industry facilities engineering planning environment. • 3 years working with a large sub-sea project. • Technical professional with in-depth project fabrication engineering/construction experience and knowledge of project controls requirements particularly relating to such. • Good team player with a pro-active and flexible attitude, and able to work in a challenging environment, with minimal supervision. Must be able to communicate at professional engineer level and thus draw together the best information into a multi discipline package for the project. • Ability to develop and maintain plans for an EPC project • Cost, HSSE and QA awareness • Fluent in written and spoken English (essential) • PC Literate in MS Windows, Excel, MS Office, MS Project, Primavera Planning P6 (minimum skilled level) • Mature person with cultural sensitivity.
