Job Title: Senior Sales Engineer Location: Singapore Job Description Bridgewater Systems, the leader in intelligent broadband controls, provides pre-integrated solutions to help them achieve this balance by transforming networks to 4G; optimizing and offloading 3G networks; and innovating and automating with new services. Overview: • The Senior Sales Engineer (SE) is a key contributor in providing pre and post-sales technical support to Bridgewater’s customers for the Asia Pacific region. • The SE performs technical identification and qualification of sales opportunities, drives customer evaluations of Bridgewater’s solutions, delivers presentations and demonstrations, and manages and responds to the customer’s technical queries. • The SE works with the customer and Bridgewater’s development team to specify, deliver and install product customizations and integrations. Detailed Requirements: • Appx 7 years relevant product experience • The candidate must have the in-depth knowledge of AAA, SDM, wireless and wire line communication technologies including 3G, DSL WiFi and potentially 4G (WiMAX, LTE) • Should be able to identify the need and requirement of the prospective or existing customer and in turn to recommend the appropriate solution from the company’s product set • Should be able to identify the gap between product and the customer actual requirement and should be able to scope and specify customization and integration to fill the requirement gap • Should have excellent project management skills • Must have exceptional communication and presentation skills • Must have the adaptability to perform both pre and post-sales activities • Even though this is a technical position, the candidate is expected to be business oriented with excellent customer facing skills. Qualifications • 7+ years experience in the software, Internet or communications industry with experience in pre and post-sales technical activity, particularly in a customer facing role. • Understanding/Experience of wireless and wire line telco networks and equipment - • Understanding of control layer technologies (RADIUS/DIAMETER AAA,PCRF, HLR/HSS, ....) • Understanding of trending computer networking technologies (SDN, NFV) • Understanding of wireless and wireline technologies ( 3G/4G, mobile core packet network, DSL, WiFi and WiMAX if possible) • University degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (or relevant work experience) • Exceptional documentation, communication and presentation skills. Responsibilities · Supporting the Asia Pacific account team to secure growth in the region. · An ability to rapidly develop expertise in the BWC product suite. · Should be able to work independently with minimum supervision. · To provide support to other projects within the Asia Pacific region. · Frequent travel is required (about 8-9 days per month).
