Job description: We are a Global High Frequency Trading firm looking to expand our London based operations. We are looking to hire a specialist to help manage day to day operations. Tasks split between systematic data management and online monitoring of the trading systems. The London team is a small, satellite one so the candidate would need to be capable of managing tasks independently. In return they would gain exposure to multiple aspects of Front Office/Quant Trading. This is an ideal job for a recent PhD graduate who has a demonstrable desire to make the jump into finance. The candidate will have gained a PhD in particle physics (or similar numerate science) in the last 5 years and would have several years of working within a distributed linux environment with heavy use of perl & python scripting.
