Job offer in Germany/Heidelberg 24.7. - 22.8.15 (+ 5 days travel in Germany as an additional offer) Caregivers / Trainers wanted Language Camp Africa - in Heidelberg (Germany) We are a non profit organisation based in Stuttgart (Germany) and we are looking for young people (on voluntary basis) from Africa. Applicants with Schengen visa will be preferred. Young people from Eastern- or Southern Africa, preferable from Uganda, Kenia, Tansania, Burundi, Rwanda, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Lesotho and South Africa are invited to apply. The unique concept approaches the task of giving children an understanding of the foreign language and cultures in a whole new way. This language course is something very special! On one hand, children visit the camp to learn English, but on the other hand, English is the only language spoken by the teamers. The foreign language is the only communication tool during versatile indoor and outdoor workshops on different aspects of South Africa and Namibia. Camp activities will include singing, dancing, storytelling and painting, hiking and games. The cooking will also be part of the common activities, introducing the children to typical food from the African regions. With team exercises, where everyone can contribute their knowledge and abilities, a community will be formed based on mutual appreciation. Growing vocabulary and self-esteem will make it easy to open up, make friends and speak English without even realizing it.
