Job title : Controls integration / Validation Engineer Duration : Long Time Location : Auburn Hills 48326, Michigan Description : Relevant Experience : 5 – 10yrs Technical/Functional Skills : Modify or develop new On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) functional requirements, algorithms, and/or Controller Area Network (CAN) messages needed to integrate the engine in the new vehicle with the HEV option.. Testing Methods: 1) CAN logs (CANOE, CANalyzer) 2) HIL & In vehicle Testing 3) Matlab Simulink. 4) Data acquisition tool as INCA/ ETAS Documentation 1) OBD compliances 2) Design Verification Plan development 3) Detail Test Plan development (Test procedures) 4) DFSS(Design for Six Sigma) 5) Test Scripts & Issues Documentation. Process 1) Modify or develop new OBD algorithms. 2) Participate in DFMEA for all controls interface for the transmission Tools 1) Matlab Simulink CANoe & CANalyzer. Roles & Responsibilities: • Support issue resolution with the modifications of old OBD algorithms or new algorithms • Participate in DFMEA meetings for new OBD controls • Support creation or modification high-level PowerTrain Functional (PTF) requirements for the Functional Development Vehicle (FDV) or “Mule” build phases, Verification of Process (VP) build phases, and Pre-Series (PS) build phase • Design and implement engine controls or algorithms unique to differences in the different vehicle build phases • Work with the HEV controls team to review and ensure proper understanding of the engine requirements • Development activities may be performed utilizing facilities/tools provided by Chrysler and/or Development Partner • Algorithm development must support dynamometer, vehicle, and full production implementation • Engine Controls Development Partner will attend regularly scheduled meetings with Chrysler engineers targeted at issue resolution and knowledge transfer • All engine control and plant models developed must be in executable specification Matlab/Simulink • All intellectual property developed during the course of this project will be owned by Chrysler • Prepare software change requests to modify or implement new algorithms for engine controls • Prepare a Design Verification Plan and Report (DVPR) to validate the software for engine control changes • Executing a DVPR using facilities/tools provided by Chrysler and/or Development Partner to validate engine control changes Generic Managerial Skills : Task Estimation & Execution Status reporting (Scheduling Management review meetings) Education : B.E./B.S or M.S/M.Tech Thanks & Regards, Simon Technical Recruiter ITBMS Inc ● Consulting. ● Knowledge. ● Solutions 1967 Rte 27, Ste 27 | Edison | NJ 08817 | y! : simon_itbms 732-655-8900 Ext : 1008 (O)| 732-909-2624 (F) | itbmsglobal
