Job Description Piping design experience in a Consulting / Engineering environment pertaining to Hydrocarbon / Petro-chemical / Oil & Gas / Chemical & other associated industries. Design engineering experience with good knowledge in Development of Overall Plot plan, Equipment layouts ,Piping layouts, Isometrics, Stress Analysis, Materials. Design/selection of Supports, Hanger/strut selection, etc Conducting Model Reviews/other reviews. Prepares piping specification, pipe classes, pipe wall thickness including external pressure calculation and branch chart calculations. Has good knowledge of piping material selection and develops piping service class index in consultation with corrosion engineer and process engineer. Has good knowledge of Code for Pressure Piping, ASME 31.3, ASME 31.1, ASTM, ANSI, API standards and applies these requirements on projects. Knowledge of dynamic analysis would be considered as an added advantage. Experience in stress analysis and associated software i.e. Caesar II, Autopipe etc . Familiar with 2D and 3D drafting software packages i.e. AutoCAD, Microstation, PDS/PDMS, SP-3D etc. Able to work in a team environment across multiple offices and work sites and demonstrate effective communication. Ensures communication flow, both verbal and written. Maintained within Piping Engineering and other design, engineering, and purchasing disciplines. Interaction with all disciplines/ Client/ licensors/ team/vendors/ site contractors. This job is for duration of one year. At the end of one year it can be renewed /Extended with mutual consent.
