Jody Watley This kid had so much heart its not funny every-time I think about him I smile I still cant say Im a big fan of his music - Im more a blues soul fan and Jermaine could sing blues and jazz... ( he had his fans, and did a good show ) I liked him, we laughed, singing in the drizzle at the top of our voices in Amsterdam will be forever one of my fondest memories. He stepped between me and this idiot with a knife ( he - the idiot doorman at the club I wanted to take Jermaine to, hated me for being tall, good looking, black and talented. The little mole of a doorman there had to have a knife because he needed it, and he knew it . Theres some nasty fascist racist gay rednecks in Holland, a dirty little country that stinks of the sea, and the only saving grace is its history, tulips and dope. ) ( a doorman with a knife think about that ) Jermaine was cool 100% dedicated to his career ( I was not I was to busy skin diving and partying ) I always thought I was the wild one and would go before everybody, guess I wasnt so wild after all huh ? ( you notice how I make everything about me ? Thats a bad habit ) and yes I like the sea, just not so much of it all the time... how else would I go skin diving ? Hollands good to work in for musicians but go, work get paid, and leave unless youre always perfect and never get out of line, that wasnt me. He was telling me this story about how he was on the set of a Michel J. video and M.J.s face started to bleed from the corners of his eyes, did he ever tell you that story Jody ? ( I know everybody else loves Holland and there must be something wrong with me, who says there isnt ? )
