He was 85. Born on March 3, 1928 in Buffalo, New York, Conley traveled the guest star route in the 1950s and 1960s in a number of TV series including “The People’s Choice,” “Lassie,” “The Danny Thomas Show,” “Alfred Hitchcock Presents,” “Dragnet,” “Dennis the Menace,” “Gunsmoke,” “The Beverly Hillbillies”,” “The Brady Bunch” and multiple appearances on “Mister Ed.” He appeared on “The Waltons” from its inception in 1972, and remained with the series for its entire nine-season run (plus the six made-for television reunion movies to-date). His final appearance was in 2002 thriller “Blind Obsession.” Conley is survived by his wife of 44 years, Louise, and their four children. - See more at: news.kjosy/?p=5184#sthash.GXIbwGUI.dpuf
