Their mother, who had fled to London years ago, was divorced & beaten by her elderly husband (she was 15 when she was married to the 48 yr old King) for not giving birth to a son. So next time you sit down to praise the memory of this barbaric monarch, think of the plight of his daughters and 1000s of people oppressed by his religion and regime.
