Joel 3:14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision. Dear Shaquanna, Choices – life is full of them. Many of the choices that we make reflect our belief system – our morals, values, convictions, and love for God – or the lack thereof. Our choices will either propel us in running the Heavenly race or detract and distract us from it. The decisions that we make, ultimately, make us. Hebrews 12:1 (Amplified) declares, THEREFORE THEN, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who have borne testimony to the Truth], let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance (unnecessary weight) and that sin which so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings to and entangles us, and let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us.” If you keep your eyes on Christ all the days and seasons of your life, you will not lose sight of His course for your life. As the Apostle Paul said, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Press into Christ and you will find yourself being used by Him.
