John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and they may have it more abundantly. NKJV Last night I was talking with a friend and I was needless to say in a moment of complete and udder upset. I had an impulse and looked at my phone and it was 10:10. At that very instant I grabbed my bible flipped to John 10:10 and well God spoke to me! I was asked how did you know it was meant for you to read that bible verse? I replied I like that verse and it just popped in my head! So true! Well, I am led to tell everyone about it this morning. Normally, I post positive uplifting encouraging things! I feel its my fight against all the negative in life! As of lately, I have needed them more than usual. If you personally know me you know the battles I have faced latley, but You also know my deep down LOVE for praying for people! I read a lot of prayer books, scriptural guidance books and I dig A LOT for what GOD says! Anyhow, moving forward and onward. I recently have been approaching my prayers for myself a little differently. I have been writing my prayers down on paper and then going back to the bible and in the margin adding bible versus to support my prayer. Sooo, in the mist of my prayer life for what is really on my heart I have been struggling with other issues. It just seems so ironic that there should be a struggle at all! I am being humerous, I know we all face struggles it is written we will. How we stay centered on God and His peace is the real test! So in this book I had been reading about prayer, I read John 10:10. I popped that in the margin as a reminder of the thiefs plots against us, the greater part of what GODS word says. In that very instant of writing it down it was implanted in my soul. So as I have been facing struggles latley I still have been praying what God had laid on my heart as well as searching bible versus and posting them in the margins. So, as I am facing decisions last night and talking with my friend about the items on my plate COMPLETELY focused on the negative and how hard can some things really be! I look at my clock and its 10:10. Although, I dont get it right ALL the time but when he talks to me and it hits my core I praise him! He so led me straight back to my main reason I am here at this time in my life and that those struggles have NOTHING to do where he is taking me! He needed me to remember what has been laid on my heart its not where I am but where I am going! I no longer am going to fret for I know it is TRUE! By simply looking at the time he brought my attention to him and the prayer I wrote down from my heart! ALL the other things are COMPLETLY distractions from the thief to destroy Gods goodness that is on the way! If the thief can distract you from your purpose he will! He will use your WORK, people at your work, people driving down the road anything he can do to make you get unfocused! My Prayer for ALL today is to take comfort in Him! He sees our deepest secrets and reached out and whispered in my soul to remember a verse I had wrote over something that only Him and I know! Rest in HIM! If you are needing a prayer answered write it down and go find scripture to support your prayer!
