John 15:1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. Has our God not set the earth as a your couch, and the mountains as stakes, and created all of you in pairs, and made your sleep for rest, and made the night a garment, and made the day for livelihood, and built above you seven solid (Heavens) and set a burning lamp, and sent down from the rain expressing clouds water pouring forth, to bring out thereby the Grain and Scented Herbs and Gardens thickly planted? We are weary of one kind of food; so we call upon the Lord for us that He bring forth for us of that which the earth grows, Of its Scented Herbs and its Cucumbers and its Corn and its Lentils and its Onions, Husked grain and Scented Herbs of every kind both male and female. It is as water which our God send down from Heaven, and the Scented Healing Herbs of the Earth is mingled with it, and on the morrow it becomes dry stubble which the winds scatter, for our God has power over all things. He has spread the earth as a bed, and has traced out paths for you therein, and hath sent down rain from Heaven, and by it we bring forth the kinds of various Scented Healing Herbs. And you have seen the earth dried up and barren: but when our God sends down the rain upon it, it stirreth and swelleth, and groweth every kind of Luxuriant Scented Healing Herb. And remember ye said: O Moses! we cannot endure one kind of food (always); so beseech thy Lord for us to produce for us of what the earth Groweth, its pot-herbs, and cucumbers, its garlic, lentils, and onions. And the herbs and the trees-both (alike) bow in adoration. Whilst it is yet in its greenness, and not cut down, it withereth before any other herb. Who hath cleft a channel for the water to flood, or a way for the lightning of the thunder, To cause it to rain on a land where no man is, on the wilderness, wherein there is no man, To satisfy the desolate and waste ground, and to cause the bud of the tender Scented Healing Herb to spring forth? Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith. Who causes the grass to spring up for the cattle, and Scented Herb for the service of man, to bring forth bread out of the earth, And wine that makes glad the heart of man, making the face brighter than oil, and bread that keeps a mans heart. He spoke, and the locust came, and the canker-worm without number, And did eat up every herb in their land, and did eat up the fruit of their ground. And God said: Let the earth put forth grass, Scented Herb yielding seed, and fruit-tree bearing fruit after its kind, wherein is the seed thereof, upon the earth And the earth brought forth grass, Scented Herb yielding seed after its kind, and tree bearing fruit, wherein is the seed thereof, after its kind; and God saw that it was good. And God said: Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed--to you it shall be for food, and to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is a living soul, [I have given] every green herb for food No shrub of the field was yet in the earth, and no herb of the field had yet sprung up; for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground, but there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the Scented Herb of the field. Every moving thing that liveth shall be for food for you; as the green Scented Herb have I given you all. For the land, whither thou goest in to possess it, is not as the land of Egypt, from whence ye came out, where thou didst sow thy seed, and didst water it with thy foot, as a garden of herbs, but the land, whither ye go over to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water as the rain of heaven cometh down, a land which the LORD thy God careth for, the eyes of the LORD thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year. My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew; as the small rain upon the tender grass, and as the showers upon the herb. #PaidInFull #SinnerSavedByGrace #TheMovement #NotOfThisWorld #GiveMoreTakeLess
