John 6:63 63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. NKJV Sometimes we get crazy, stupid type thoughts that come to confuse our minds and lead us in a direction that has no good end. These thoughts signify that Satan is present and wants to do his work through you to fulfil his mission statement against God’s people and all of His creation- Steal, Kill and destroy. John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. NKJV The mission Satan has is set to destroy us personally and the other is to use us to steal, kill and destroy others. Imagine that Satan not only wants to do bad to you but that he also wants to use you to do bad to others- what a maniac! But how much crazier it is when we fall for it. I hate when I listen to some ignorant thought Satan presents and do something that is displeasing to God. This is why it’s extremely important that we become aware of what we are thinking about because thoughts lead to the things we say and do. If we listen to Satan, and by listening I mean, pay attention to him and acknowledge that what he is saying sounds good, then we will end up walking in his plans for us and others. But if on the other hand we listen to God’s voice, pay attention to Him and acknowledge that He is right, then we will walk in what is right. We will speak words of life and behave in a way that destroys what is evil and builds up what is good. Look at what God said to Jeremiah in Jeremiah 1:9-10 "Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. 10 See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant." NKJV Amen.
