John Luk is not to be blamed for that horrible document called the Constitution of South Sudan, blame your parliament that passed it into law. If they did not pass it, John Luk might now be using that draft as a napkin on his kitchen table. If we cant point to the real source of the problem, how can we solve the problem? In my opinion, this are the real people to blame: 1. Parliament for passing the document into law. 2. The President for: (a) demanding such powers in the first place, (b) failing to restrain himself in his exercise of those powers, so as to acknowledge and reflect the weight and complexities of his duties and responsibility toward his citizens. 4. The President for abusing public powers, in particular article 101(r). 5.Us - South Sudan citizen for falling to demonstrate against the clear disregard for our lives and country. 6. John Luk for lacking the integrity to resign.
