Join us this Friday for a Serenity Dream Catcher workshop. Dream catchers are vibrant works of art of Native American culture. The original web dream catcher of the Ojibwa tribe was intended to teach natural wisdom. Formed of an embellished hoop, which symbolizes strength and unity, many Native Americans have a dream catcher above their beds to sift their dreams and visions. It allows only good dreams to pass to the sleeper as it traps bad dreams, which evaporate in the morning sun. A dream catcher is now used by people from many cultures as a continuing reminder of their highest visions and aspirations. In this creative workshop, you will create a unique dream catcher using a variety of art materials, including wire, beads, gemstones, and an assortment of natural materials in all colors and textures.
