It has a global prevalence affecting individuals all over the world. The debilitating effects of Parkinson’s are magnified in developing countries where the appropriate resources for patients are sparse. The World Parkinson’s Program is an international charity organization with the mission of educating and supporting patients and caregivers irrespective of nationality or ethnicity. We aim to provide education about Parkinson’s disease through our multilingual brochures, free monthly electronic newsletter, lectures, and social media. Currently, we are running a Fall Prevention Campaign that advocates the prevention of falls among Parkinson’s patients through the deliverance of health care literature and supplies such as canes, walkers and wheelchairs to those who are unable to afford it. However, this endeavor will only be possible through your donations.
