Joining Bruce Marsh Waikato couple Gabriel Hessian and Lisa - TopicsExpress

Joining Bruce Marsh Waikato couple Gabriel Hessian and Lisa O’Shea will leave Cambridge early next month to join a top New Zealand horseman’s overseas stable. The pair have landed senior positions with Group One-winning trainer Bruce Marsh, who successfully relocated to Singapore in 2005 and is currently in equal sixth position on the trainers’ premiership. “It’s just too good an opportunity to turn down and I’ll be the foreman to Bruce and helping him manage the stable while Lisa will be mainly riding work and gaining further training experience as well,” Hessian said. “Bruce’s foreman left in February and I’ve always been very good friends with Bruce’s son Stephen and that’s how it came about. “We also sold Bruce a horse called Hypernova, who’s turned out to be one of his better ones and we’ve always kept in contact with him.” Hessian said current stable clients had been informed of their decision to move to Singapore and had been supportive.
