Jon and I have come to a conclusion that it takes an inordinate amount of money to put our children through the public school system. Jared had a couple of of projects he had to do last month that cost us too much money.Jonathan had a project that added to the school fund. This month, Jared has a Mission project that he has to do that when given the instructions, he could do a brochure, a Power Point demonstration, or go to Michaels and get the Mission model that he could put together. We chose the latter. When we got to the cash register, I had a nice, long talk with the cashier regarding our situation. In the section where we picked up the model, we had the choice of picking up little extras, such as small trees, river rock, flour and sugar sacks among other things at $1.99 apiece. Had I known, I would have started saving for this venture last year. My gripe of the week!! :-/
