Jonah 2:10 “And the LORD commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.” Abba Father good morning – This world can be so delusional, overpowering, and full of temptations, that at times as we can become overwhelmed in the surrounding chaos; clouding our mind with hesitation, doubt, fear, and a sense of hopelessness, confusing us to a point of where do we turn and who do we trust. Just as our living God heard Jonah’s prayer of distress: from deep within his heart, his mind, and his soul. From deep within the depths of the ocean while in the belly of the fish, commanding the fish to vomit Jonah on dry land, providing a fresh start in re-directing his life. This same living God hears our prayers from deep within our heart, our mind, and our soul; this very day, this very moment, desiring to bring relief in the distress, the fear, and the uncertainties of this life. Re-directing our lives down a path filled with an abundance of hope, encouragement, unconditional love, forgiveness, and the promise of eternal life in heaven. Praying from deep within our soul, believing in our heart, and instilling the living words of the bible in our mind, will overshadow our lives with hope, truth, and affirmation from our living God. Strengthening our faith: to trust, to receive, and to follow this amazing living God that loves this whole world, each one of us so very much – unconditionally. Believing, accepting, trusting, and following Gods only Son, our Savior, and our best friend, Jesus, will provide the dry land in the storms of this life, in this world, this day. We can follow the ways of this world into hopelessness, or we can follow Jonah onto dry land. We have a choice, a decision, and a way of life to choose, moment by moment, this day. Father – Thank you answering my pray for help, redeeming my life, and pouring blessings of undeserved grace within my heart, my mind, and my soul. At times I am overwhelmed by Your unconditional love, Your amazing forgiveness, and Your affirmation of faithfulness in my life. I am thankful, grateful, and cherish our relationship, our friendship, and this life we embrace together, moment by moment.
