Jonah and I have an annual tradition of decorating some sort of gingerbread house or village or train or something. This year we made a Gingerbread Lego Village. Jonahs house is the one with the Halo guys. Jonah is the blue Halo guy sitting on his chicken coop. And yes, the chicken, the bird and the alligator all happily co-exist. The green Halo guys are Jonahs brothers. They just moved in with him. You should see them all try to get in their tiny red door! Talk about entertainment. Jonahs dragon friend Night Flier, lives next door and was sitting on his roof when I photographed his house. Dave is the white Lego Ninjago with the a-frame mountain cottage. My house is the one with the blond girl in the shades with the pet dinosaur. Of course! Favorite thing out of the things we made: the wreath over Jonahs front door. Favorite thing out of the whole scene: my pet dino. Favorite discovery I made about decorating gingerbread houses this year: We decorated each wall laying down first, and then assembled the houses. We usually always have the problem of trying to put wreaths and windows and everything on and they keep sliding down or its just awkward trying to decorate vertical walls. This way, we got to be more precise with windows, doors and wreaths. Were totally going pro next year. ;) Merry Christmas, gingerfriends!
