Jonah has shown an interest in archery, so I bought him all the comp stuff (Genesis)...but we have struggled to find a good place to shoot over the past few months (too windy outside at our house). We finally found a nice indoor A/C place with a kids league, Cinnamon Creek Ranch. Jonah shot his second round of competition tonight, ever...and killed it! He has only shot the bow about 8 times total. I am so proud I him, it is like he has been doing this for years! Out of 6 rounds of 5 arrows each he scored on 28 of the 30 arrows and in one round almost shot a perfect 5 bulls eyes (two in the ring around the bulls eye, three in it)! BTW...he is shooting what they call bare bones, meaning no sights, no triggers, no stabilizers, nothing! Most kids are shooting with all of that stuff! Iceman (as he was called when he raced) has found his calling I think! So smooth and patient!
