Joshua 17: 14 - 18 BE MORE HAVE MORE DO MORE ! Todays message is to REMIND ALL OF US that we need to BE MORE SERIOUS WHEN IT COMES TO GODS BUSINESS ! AMEN ? HALLELUJAH ! Joshua 17: 14 - 18 14 - And the children of Joseph spake unto Joshua saying , Why hast thou given me but one lot and one portion to inherit , seeing I am a great people , forasmuch as the Lord hath blessed me hitherto? 15 - And Joshua answered them , If thou be a great people , then get thee up to the wood country , and cut down for thyself there in the land of Perizzites and of the giants , if mount Ephraim be too narrow for thee. 16 - And the children of Joseph said , The hill is not enough for us and all the Canaanites that dwell in the land of the valley have chariots of iron , both they who are of Bethshean and her towns , and they who are of the valley of Jezreel. 17 - And Joshua spake unto the house of Joseph , even to Ephraim and to Manasseh , saying , Thou art a great people , and hast great : thou shalt not have one lot only : 18 - But the mountain shall be thine ; for it is a wood , and thou shalt cut it down : and the outgoings of it shall be thine :for thou shalt drive out the Canaanites , though they have iron chariots , and though they be strong. Basically in the text the scripture lesson if you will , the children of Joseph want to BE MORE AND HAVE MORE , but Joshua reminded them that they HAD TO DO MORE ! AMEN ? HALLELUJAH ! THE HARVEST IS PLENTIOUS BUT THE LABOURERS ARE FEW ! AMEN ? HALLELUJAH ! WE WANT TO SO MUCH FROM GOD BUT ARE NOT WILLING TO GIVE HIM HIS DUE WORSHIP IN OUR LIFESTYLE ! AMEN ? HALLELUJAH ! BE MORE HAVE MORE DO MORE ! IN OTHERS WORDS WE MUST GIVE MORE OF OURSELVES ! AMEN ? HALLELUJAH ! AS THE SONG WRITER WROTE ALL TO JESUS I SURRENDER ALL TO HIM I FREELY GIVE ! ANOTHER SONG WRITER WROTE I GIVE MYSELF AWAY ! IN ORDER THAT GOD MIGHT USE US ! ( WHAT ARE YOU SAYING PREACHER ? SO GLAD YOU ASKED US !) WE CAN HAVE MORE FROM GOD IF WE WOULD BE MORE ! AMEN ? HALLELUJAH ! NO ONLY THAT WE NEED TO DO MORE ! AMEN ? HALLELUJAH ! (WHAT ARE YOU SAYING PREACHER ? SO GLAD YOU ASKED US AGAIN !) THE BIBLE CLEARLY STATES , FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD ! IT CLEARLY ALSO STATES , A MAN THAT DONT WORK DOESNT EAT ! AMEN ? HALLELUJAH ! SO SOME OF IT IS BEING PARAPHRASED BUT WE ALL SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN THE POINT WE ARE GETTING ACROSS ! AMEN ? HALLELUJAH ! BE MORE HAVE MORE DO MORE ! TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY FOR ALL THE THINGS HE HAS DONE !!!!!!!
