Joshua Hartzler made Scene 1 for Disney Dinosaur 2. Dinosaur 2 Few of the earth from outer space the lands spread apart and we drift down to North America into California into a in a building The Dino Institute, leading down the hallways all the way to a lab with fossilized dinosaur bones and skulls... Pan over a young man hard working on a vehicle blow torches, wires and circuitry are being scene. A movie plays the 2013 film of “Walking with Dinosaurs” and the man leans inside the hood of the vehicle wearing magnifying glasses and focuses on the green wire the the main control of the vehicle. He grunts as he a knock on the door. PROFESSOR PHILLIP TYLER: “Dagnabbit it... Who is it?!” ULYSSES OZ: “Guess who!” Professor Tyler opening the door. PROFESSOR PHILLIP TYLER: “Oh, Ulysses!” Ulysses came entered in and seeing Phillip getting out of the hood of the vehicle and he asked. ULYSSES OZ: “Hows the Time Rover coming along?” Professor Tyler sighs in frustration. PROFESSOR PHILLIP TYLER: “I was about done with the main coarse til you came and bugged me.” Ulysses was chuckling. ULYSSES OZ: “Oh, Im sorry for disturbing you. I just brought you some chow.” Phillip was pleased that he brought him lunch he hasnt been eating all day since he got hired from The Dino Institute from Dr. Avery Marsh, the owner of The Dino Institute. He wasnt completely pleased when he heard Ulysses chuckled in his throat. PROFESSOR PHILLIP TYLER: “Yeah, I can tell. Whats the menu Ulysses? Ulysses unfolded the paper and passes it to Phillip. ULYSSES OZ: “Well... it would be that I brought you a sandwich right there.” He handed over to Phillip. PROFESSOR PHILLIP TYLER: “Sandwich, eh? ULYSSES OZ: “Yeah. Wish you luck, buddy boy.” Ulysses heads for the door and leaves Professor Tyler to do his work. PROFESSOR PHILLIP TYLER: “Buddy Boy? Ha! That Dr. Oz is such a joker even when he makes sport on my genius unlike other folks. Well, Ill show them and then Ill have the last laugh.” He picks up the TV remote and turns off the TV and went back to work. Down the hallway Ulysses walked down the hallway all the way to Dr. Avery Marshs office for a special meeting. As he enters the office he see beautiful Dr. Rachel Carter, Dr. Anton Seekers and Dr. Avery Marsh, the boss of The Dinosaur Institute. DR. AVERY MARSH: “The reason I called you all hear is because of Professor Tyler.” She turns to Dr. Seekers. “Dr. Seekers, youve been with him since he was hired to work on the Time Rover, were you not?” DR. ANTON SEEKERS: “I was.” DR. AVERY MARSH: “Good. I have you all realize... again. The Dino Institute is has been on a tight struggle to get in connection to time and I hired Phillip have been hired to work on the Time Rover so we can get connections.” Dr. Marsh stares at Ulysses Oz with a disappointed look. DR. AVERY MARSH: “The problem is we have been on a slow process and the Professor is getting side tracked because eventuality... You, Dr. Oz, have been giving him a hard time ever since hes been working on the Time Rover.” ULYSSES OZ: “I may be hard on him most of the time, but him working on the Time Rover is just a waste of time.” DR. AVERY MARSH: “A waste of time or not, Dr. Oz, to Phillip this isnt a waste of time. Its important to him and he feels that no one cares. You three need to be with him and let him know there are friends counting on him like me.” DR. ANTON SEEKERS: I always can count on him. But I can admit hes very rough on skeptics.” DR. AVERY MARSH: “We know his story. Hes been ridiculed and hectored incessantly about his knowledge of time and space, human nature and evolution for 3 years.” She looks at Ulysses Oz. DR. AVERY MARSH: “You, Dr. Oz, need to listen to him before you past judgment.” ULYSSES OZ: “Why blame it on me?” RACHEL CARTER. “Cause you are the only one that ridiculed him.” Dr. Marsh turned and smiled at Rachel. DR. AVERY MARSH: “Well play, Rachel.” Dr. Avery Marsh was standing up from her chair. DR. AVERY MARSH: “Now my assignment to you 3 today is to be with him and help him complete his project for this institute.” Ulysses, Rachel and Anton walking down the hallway and could hear loud drilling and sizzling and they got louder and more louder as they entered the room. They find Phillip under the rover fixing up the engines. Phillip could see their feet from bellow and he gave a sigh of annoyance and started to crawl out, got up on his feet, brushed himself off and asked. PROFESSOR PHILLIP TYLER: “What are you three doing here?” RACHEL CARTER: “We came to help you out.” PROFESSOR PHILLIP TYLER: “Okay... on what?” DR. ANTON SEEKERS: “Youve been on this project for 3 months. Without anybodies help, not even me.” Professor Tyler crossed his arms and gave a nod. PROFESSOR PHILLIP TYLER: “Alright, Ill let you lend a hand to me. Its nearly completed and this is once chance well ever get.” They started on the Time Rover by observing on how it works. Ulysses sat on the front checking the controls and Professor Tyler showed him how it works. PROFESSOR PHILLIP TYLER: Its similar to a car. The driver has a steering wheel, the gas, the breaks and braking break. However... He points to main starter. PROFESSOR PHILLIP TYLER: This red button is the starter and everything in this car is powered by a battery which is Dr. Seekers and Is own design and when the batteries are running low all it needs is a few days rest till its fully charged.” ULYSSES OZ: “Very interesting, Phillip, but...?” PROFESSOR PHILLIP TYLER: “But what?” ULYSSES OZ: “Youll have to show it off in order to convince me. Besides this Time Rover looks very similar to the movie.” PROFESSOR PHILLIP TYLER: “What kind of movie?” ULYSSES OZ: “Back to the Future.” Phillip Tyler laughed in his throat admitting that it is sort of similar to Back to the Future movie, but he didnt care. 14 days later, The Time Rover was completed and they drove it around downtown to test driving, Professor Tyler was the Driver, Dr. Seekers was next to him up front, Dr Oz, Dr. Marsh and Rachel were in the back. People on the streets stared with amazement it was like nothing they ever saw before. They continued on driving and people started to take photos with flashy cameras and even cell phones. End of Scene 1.
