Joshua Perahia: I wrote this song in the 90s, yet I could not find a fantastic chorus melody. I had only 2 hours before International vocalist Mark Boals was coming to the studio to sing this song! I was running out of time & ideas to find that perfect combination of melody and lyrical power to make this a special work of love and faith. I went to my office, grabbed my Taylor acoustic guitar, and fell to the floor in prayer for that precious chorus. After 3 minutes of prayer.....and my continual guitar chords.....it was if a voice from heaven gave me the melody and Key words for the lyrics. Within 15 minutes, I finished the entire chorus, background vocals, typed it into my computer, and printed it out. The lyric sheets were still hot when I got to the studio, and taught the song to Mark Boals. This is one of my favorite songs on the album. I hope it Blesses you. World at War. A true story.
