Judi Youngposted toWildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota (WRC) Yesterday at 10:17am near Saint Paul · .. I see a Canadian Goose along my running path. He has a damaged wing. He is unable to leave with the other geese for the winter. I have seen him for 2 months straight. It is just a pond. It is frozen over now. I dont know if there is anything anyone is willing to do. But I thought I would ask. Will he survive the MN winter w/o being able to fly south? Like · . Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota (WRC) Judi, thank you for being concerned about the goose. I dont know if you are the person I spoke to just a little bit ago but in case youre not, Ill put a reply here, too. If you want to help the goose it should be captured and brought to us. Most cities do not respond to goose calls because they actually have culling procedures in place, so youll want to gather some friends or neighbors to help you capture it. Once you have it you can just bring it in - no need to call first. Were open every day of the week from 9am-6pm. Give us a call if you have any questions: 651-486-9453.
