July 26 345 PM CDT: Updated Video Briefing on Severe Threat Check out the embedded video for an updated briefing on the potential for some severe storms this evening mainly well south of I-80 in central Illinois and central Indiana. The bottom line is, confidence has diminished in a widespread severe threat even in our far southern areas, but some isolated severe storms are possible. If any severe storms do occur, the primary hazards would be large hail and damaging winds. For much of the area, the good news is that the weather will likely remain primarily dry through the evening and overnight hours.
