[July 28, 7:50 a.m.] Vehicular traffic will be reduced to one lane east bound, or fully closed, on the 1000 block of West Franklin Street in downtown Richmond on Monday. City workers continue to repair a water main that broke there last week. Traffic back-ups may occur in the streets around the 1000 block of West Franklin Street during commutes. The VCU Police Department encourages drivers to take alternate routes. Traffic impacts may continue this week; check back to alert.vcu.edu for updates.
