June 17, 2013 Dear Desert Dawg Beagle Family & Friends! A new - TopicsExpress

June 17, 2013 Dear Desert Dawg Beagle Family & Friends! A new chapter has begun for the Beagles and me! We have moved to Glendale, AZ after selling the property in Dewey. As a temporary measure, we are sharing a home with our Beagle buddy, Pat Seifried. Many of the Beagles are here with me although Grandpa Hobbs is still in cooler Prescott Valley with our dear friends, Richard and Cheryl Kinn. It has been a pretty hard move and none of us wanted to upset Grandpa any more than necessary. Since my last newsletter, Tumbleweed won another Winners Dog and needs just one more point to be a champion. We WILL get there, I promise! Ryder, owned by Debby Cassidy, is just a little over a year and he has 7 points with both of his majors out of the way. He is a red&white from Dusty and Tumbleweed’s litter last year. Tumbleweed won Reserve Winners Dog at the June Phoneix AZ Beagle Specialty in Flagstaff which means he won second best non-champion male…no points but it was a prestigious judge who was very complimentary about the boy! We have been busy planning our Beagle Nationals week that will take place the end of October in Tucson. We expect 300-400 Beagles from ALL over the world. I am hoping that as many of my Desert Dawg Beagles as possible will participate! Now that I am in the metro-Phoenix area, I hope to start early Saturday morning free handling classes for my Desert Dawg Beagle family and friends. It is very hot this time of year so we may have to see how things go and make a decision about planning another time during the week or weekend. Please let me know if you are interested. Gracie, the lovely red& white girl from last year’s litter, owned by Brittany and Jerome in Vegas, has had some fun being a little celebrity for her mom and dad. They are making quite a splash as beautiful “people” on the Vegas scene. I am so happy she is bringing great joy to Brittany and Jerome! Dulce, in Colorado Springs, sends Grandma Sue regular updates on her escapades there too. It is so wonderful to see her cavorting with her family and other dogs in the area! She grew up to be a lovely 13” lady! I am still looking for work but things look more hopeful now that I am in the valley. I completed a course in Life Coaching at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts and have started helping people through Life Coaching. You know I am a great cheerleader so this is right up my alley! To learn more visit my website at: suesammarco.info To remind you, my kennel website is: desertdawgbeagles.info and that is connecting correctly and consistently now too. With the move I have not been able to update the photos you have sent but I will be getting back to that website upkeep too! If you are interested in learning more about the Nationals Beagle show week, check out our club website at: phoenixazbeagleclub.info If you can’t guess, that one is my responsibility too! For those who are wondering, the girls came in heat before my move here and I plan to breed Grand Ch. Dusty next season. I will be breeding her to Cole, the tricolor puppy born last October. He has just started his show career and we are getting great comments about him! The plan is for me to be in my new home by that time and I will let all of you know about that as life progresses! I have one family on my waiting list, Annie’s owners in Las Vegas. If you are interested on getting on the list, please let me know. I appreciate ALL of you for your love and support and wish you lots of fun this summer!!! Hugs and kisses to you and all the grandkids too, Grandma Sue Phone 928-273-4753 Emails: desertdawgbeagles@hotmail dr.suesammarco@yahoo desertdawgbeagles.info
