Jupiter is known as the largest planet, also idintified easily for its red giant storm ( red spot). It also act as a big brother of our solar family by keeping the enemies away from rest of the other brorher or sisrer planets. It cleans the solar system from asteroids and other rocky meteors, for that reason starting four rocky planets exist till now. On July 1994 comet Shoemaker Levy 9 crashed into the Jupiter after breaking apart into the 9 pieces by the strong gravitational pull of the planet. If in place of Jupiter, earth was there it could not resist the first crash and would destroy. We are very much thankful to Jupiter for that.
