Just A Thought...... Galatians 5 lists the Fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, long-suffering (patience), kindness, goodness, gentleness, and self-control. We tend to overlook this last one listed, self-control. The society we live in as a whole doesnt help AT ALL with self-control. We are enticed at every turn and this is a place the enemy gets us! Self-gratification is so widely accepted, after all, he who is without sin cast the first stone. But you see, when we confess, as a child of God born of the Spirit, that we have NO Self-Control, are we not denying the work of the Holy Spirit within us? You can tell a peach tree because of its peaches, you can tell a cherry tree because of its cherries, you will know a Christian by their fruit! Its there, the Spirit placed it there, now use it for the glory of God! Practice Self-control! You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you! Thank you for listening and God bless.
