Just A word from Clarence, on Dont Look at the Storm, [MATT. 14:30-31] But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. [v31] And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? If theres any way the devil can get your eyes away from the Word, hell do it. Hell cause trouble . Hell make the circumstances around you pitch and roll like a rowboat in a hurricane. Hell do anything he can to get you to concentrate on the realm of the five physical senses and the situation around you instead of on the promise of God, Jesus said in [v27] But straightway Jesus spake unto them saying Be of good cheer, it is I, be not afraid. in this life there are many things to fear, yet Jesus wants us to look to Him and not be afraid. In [v28-29] And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. [v29] And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the walker, to go to Jesus. When Peter fist jumped out of the boat that day in response to Jesus word, what happened? He walked right across that water without a problem. His whole being was fastened on that word Jesus had spoken to him, Come! But when he took his eyes off that word, he started looking at the storm. He started looking at the impossible thing he was doing. After all, he was a fisherman. All his training and experience told him when the waves were that high, you were going under. He started to focus on what he knew in the natural five senses, instead of what Jesus said. When he did that, his faith slipped out of gear and he started to sink. [v30] But when he saw the wine boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. Let us not look at the circumstances around us, but keep our eyes on the Word. In [Ps. 103:2-5] Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: [v3] Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; [v4] Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; [v5] Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagles. Once we get a revelation from the Word of God, hang on to it. Dont focus on anything else. Do focus on the natural, focus on the supper natural, for that is were Jesus will met aver need. The devil will do everything he can to get you to turn loose of it. Hell stir up things around you. Hell try to get you to look at the winds of life, the waves of life. He will try to get you into fear. Hell push every button he can from the past to get you back into your old way of thinking. But dont let go Keep your eyes on the Word of God, and what Jesus did for us on Calvary, and we will be able to walk our way across the water. Jesus said Be of good cheer; it is I, be not afraid. well may God Bless you all , and keep your eyes on Jesus, and you can over come any thing , love you all in Christ, Brother Clarence,
