Just Asking nicely... for the long-term benefit and the good of everyone... Based on the past behavior of cruisers in the 90s that perhaps caused cruising in Pottstown to abruptly end, I am concerned about the potential [bad] behavior of today’s cruisers. Seriously, we are planning a 4-Day Custom Car Show / Battle of the Bands for September that will include cruising on High Street between Pottstown and Hill Top in Sanatoga. Although we have received the permission to plan our event, we do not yet have 100% approval yet from a few key borough leaders. A few of us on our 4-day event committee are concerned that if the cruising before our major event becomes too chaotic, it might cause our event to be limited or even cancelled. Furthermore, any chaos during any events – yours and/or ours – could ‘entirely prevent’ any future cruising – ‘period’. Asking nicely, can we all respect the road and the others on it? ...perhaps no ‘major’ burn-outs or major drag racing?
