Just a few wispy, flimsy streaks of creamy lace adorn this otherwise flawless expanse of early morning topaz - a sight for sore eyes indeed - as they meander and glide towards the southeast, borne on a soft summer wind... the morning sun, climbing steadily into this rich blue heaven, gleams gold where it lights the rich, fertile greenery, then falls to dapple the garden, picking out the top few roses on the bush, gleaming with a bright blushing pink in this almost unaccustomed light... a steady breeze ripples languidly through the leaves, turning them this way and that, lighting the diamond raindrops with scattered, multi-coloured fire... It did rain in the night - as the gleaming rooftops show - but all that seems to have passed in this blissful, balmy morning blue... The cats are out, prowling the perimeters of their patch, ever hopeful that there just might be something out there worth catching, as a lone crow flies over, cackling scornfully at their fruitless search... my oh my, its a beautiful day! :¬}
