Just a friendly reminder that elections for next year are now open! Check your e-mail for the link to vote. I am humbled and honored to ask for your vote to be the next Women’s Law Society President. I have been dedicated to the success of our organization and am proud for all we have accomplished, including our recent recognition as organization of the year. But, we still have strides to make. I envision closer ties with our local Florida Association of Women’s Lawyers (FAWL) chapter to gain mentorship and guidance for our members, and active engagement of more students at the FIU College of Law as members of our group. We also have tremendous potential to build up our alumni network and help members get internship and job opportunities. I have been active in campus organizations for two years, so I know the ins and outs of event planning, funding requests, and executive board meetings.
