Just a heads up for all our MTG, YGO and DnD players. For the month of November well be trialing a new schedule and pricing system. If all goes well well be looking at expanding in December with possibility of adding a few more games to our schedule. ----Dungeons and Dragons---- Between now and November well be building up the number of miniatures that will be available, painted and ready for games in store, in addition to our existing map tiles and resources. The first target for this collection is to cover all encounters in the Hoard of the Dragon Queen adventure. Well be introducing a cost of $20 per session per group to help cover costs of running the store, this will additionally cover resource hire. This will be up to the group how it is divided among players. (Price is a fixed rate for the session. A 2 hour session and a 4 hour session would both be $20 hire) ----YuGiOh---- Weekly tournament entry will go up to $5, with prize support being adjust accordingly. Each player will receive a booster for participation in addition to extra rewards for those who place 3-0. Well also be running larger events on a regular basis on Saturdays. These events will vary in entry price, and will include events such as Drafts, Sealed, Preconstructed and Constructed play. ----Magic the Gathering---- Well be introducing a regular rotation of events for FNM, with regular drafting on the first Friday of the month, Standard on the second and fourth Friday of the month. The third Friday of the month will be reserved for alternate formats such as commander, modern, etc. In addition entry for drafts will be returned to $18, and alternative formats will have an entry of $5, with additional prizes. Well also be looking at running a special event/game day once a month on a Saturday. ----Other Events---- Weve had an increasing number of people showing interest in Pokemon and Vanguard lately, and were looking into stocking and running events. We do however need to know how many people are interested in playing regularly, and will be looking at having a Pokemon and Vanguard game day at some stage in November to help us work out what the ideal conditions for a regular tournament are.
