Just a little song I like, as I take a deep breath, after twelve days at Mem. Sloan Kettering Im home and feeling so much better. They took excellent care of me there, and the purpose of my visit, to identify and eliminate any possible colon cancer was wholly successful. I gave up a few inches of colon, but Im free of colon cancer, or as close to 100% as doctors are willing to say. My concurrent Breast cancer, also bye bye! Some more surgeries and treatments to come, an ileostomy bag for a few months, but right now, Im so good. A fire in the fireplace, a kitty on my lap and a good cup of green tea, and Im able to eat and digest by hubbys delicious meatloaf. Thank you all for being there for me, friends and family have been everything these past few months, thank you! Be well and be lucky! Julia.
