Just a random statement. As many of you know, Caleb is ADHD and has, for several years, been on medication. I made the decision, at the end of his 6th grade year, to take him off of his patch. He had migraines at least twice a week, tics that were getting worse by the day, and anxiety that was through the roof! I have to say, I was a nervous wreck about sending him to middle school med free with new people and an entirely new environment. However, middle has been the best thing for him. He has been, for the most part, focused and on task! Hes 12, hes going to do what 12 year olds do, but so far, no complaints from teachers! He might eventually have to go back on medicine later on in life, but for right now, hes/were happy living a med free life!
