Just added to the September 7 Community Sliding Scale Clinic and Open House: High Rock Farm! Established in 1807, this Gibsonville farm is the largest producing chestnut orchard in the Mid Atlantic. Their gluten free chestnut flour (featured in OUR STATE magazine last year) is produced from their 500 chestnut trees. They will be sampling a wonderful pastry made from this product at our clinic. They will be offering for sale their homemade blackberry jam made from their fresh blackberries, sugar toasted pecans from their 400 pecan trees, blackberry bars, and gluten free chestnut flour with two gluten free baking recipes in each bag. Come on out and see them! *High Rock Farm is also available as a venue for weddings, parties and events. The house on the property is listed on the national registry for historic homes and they offer historic house tours year round.
