Just an observation.. Unions seem to cripple their members even more than they already are. Howd I come to that opinion?! Unions arent all bad, but, what happens when the union loses and the company holding all the jobs either dissolves or migrates those jobs over seas for cheaper labor? Every time that happens, it happens a lot, all those union members who put their faith in the union rather than in themselves to build their own wealth and security end up getting wiped out and lose big time because now they no longer have a job or the skills to make up for the loss of income by making their own money. Its not just union members, but employees in general. Wouldnt you and your family be far more secure if you develop a skill set to earn six figures in six months should something happen to your job that your employer, not you, owns? Yes, you and your family would be much more secure that way than putting your faith into an employer or Union protection. Quickest way to cripple a person is to give them a crutch. Union = Crutch. In my opinion they make no sense except to make unions themselves lots of money from garnishing your wages in addition to paying the highest tax rate in the country.
