Just an observation... it isnt every day, but it is often enough to hear/read people complaining about Fallon; its so remote, there is nothing here, far from civilization, etc... but when it goes so far as to speak poorly about the people, being sh*tty THAT is where I have had it! First of all, the locals here are some of the nicest people Ive ever met, kind and helpful. Secondly, many of those who live here are transplanted from elsewhere, often retired military. Lastly, the military families here are a great balance of age/racial/cultural diversity with more in common than not. So the conclusion Ive reached? Well... If in your opinion everyone here in Fallon is so sh*tty that perhaps the sh*tty one is YOU. Do you work? Do you get out and meet people? Those that you have met did you ever accept an invitation? Have you gotten involved in any activities? Do you have a life whatsoever that exists beyond your front door?! I can understand being homesick. I can understand missing loved ones too. But Im sorry, when youre so quick to black list an entire population of people based on a zip code? The common denominator in the equation is YOU. Im just saying... #makethemostofit Can I get a witness!
